Located on the world roof of the Qinghai-Tibet plateau, POWERCHINA QINGHAI CONSTRUCTION LIMITED COMPANY (Formerly known as QINGHAI THERMAL POWER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY) established in August 1958, our company is a member of global top 500 enterprise The Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA, Stock Code 601669), we are the wholly owned subsidiary company by Shanghai Electric Power Corporation Co., Ltd (SEPC).
The registered capital of our company is 133,760,000 CNY, we are the unique company who owns the Grade A qualification for general contracting electric power construction projects (including power transmission and substation project), Grade A for electric utility erection (Repair & Commissioning) permit, Grade A for metal test laboratory of (thermal) power plant project, Grade B for electric engineering commissioning, Grade A for electric engineering insulation masonry, anti-corrosion and waterproof work, Permit for special equipment erection, modification, maintenance and repair (boiler erection, hoisting machinery, pressure pipeline), People's Republic of China international project contracting business qualification certificate, Grade B for fire-fighting facility contracting etc. In addition, we own the resourcing qualifications, such as general contractor grade A for house building construction and grade A for municipal public utility projects.
Our company can undertake various power plants (coal-fired, gas-fired, fuel oil fired power plant, wind farm, solar power plant, nuclear power plant and auxiliary production utilities), diverse voltage level transmission and distribution line, substation, extra high voltage rotary condenser project and diverse house building and municipal public projects.
During 60 years development period, our company market is based upon Qinghai province, develop other province market in China and also develop global market in the world. We successively won projects in Qinghai province, Gansu, Ningxia, Xinjiang, Tibet, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Shandong, Inner Mongolia, Jilin, Henan, Hebei, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guizhou, Hunan, Yunnan, Guangdong, Guangxi Province and international projects at Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, etc.
We contracted and built various electric power plants, power transmission & transformation projects, building construction projects and pipeline projects. Until now, we constructed more than 180 units of various types of power plants, installed more than 80 units of 750KV, ± 500KV, ± 400KV,330KV, 220KV and 110 KV switch-yard, substations and converter stations, erected ± 500KV, ± 400KV, 330KV, 220 KV and 110 KV transmission lines for thousands of kilometers.
The construction quality of projects contracted by our company were evaluated as excellent, some of the projects were rated as China National Awards for Excellent Quality Project, China National Excellent Award for Electric Power Infrastructure Project, Qinghai Provincial Model Project, Qinghai Provincial Jiangheyuan Cup Award etc., we won nearly one hundred different honorary titles.
Our company owns professional technicians, experienced management team and comprehensive service system; we put our technology management tools into operation. Meanwhile, our various construction equipment, fabrication equipment and commissioning, test methods can meet qualification requirements. In 1997, our company successfully passed GB/T19000 quality management system (double) authorization. Moreover, we also successfully passed occupational health, safety and environmental management system authorization in 2013. The system authorization covers our qualification scope.
